We've combined our Colombian and Brazilian beans in this version of our incredibly popular Barrel Aged series. For this version, we went subtle. We wanted to create a barrel-aged coffee that was an everyday drinker, not just a dessert, or once in a while coffee. We carefully prepped our barrel, and checked on the beans daily, and pulled them just when we were getting the hint of what we were looking for, but before they became overpowered by the flavours imparted by the barrel. If you've ever tried our barrel-aged before and found it too much to handle, this one may be right up your alley!
How do we create Barrel-Aged coffee? We take our pre-roasted, green beans, and place them in a freshly emptied oak barrel. The barrel then imparts its flavours into the beans, we remove them after a certain amount of time, and then roast away! The result is this amazingly unique coffee.
